Recording Begins......

An incredible new creative venture has come my way.  Many of you know that I manage/represent Scott Alan Stagg, a local musician who has been performing in the Acadiana area and the Gulf Coast for 37 years.  He released two commercially successful albums several years ago and he's recently been laying the ground work to record a new album. I'll be following along this project, going with Scott into the studio, documenting the process, creating fundraising efforts, setting up publicity and marketing, etc.  

This blog will be part of the process as well, so anyone interested can check in from time to time to follow the progress and development of the album.  You'll find pictures of the various contributing musicians and the equipment being used, insight into the meaning behind the songs, ways for you to be involved, behind the scenes discussions with Scott and his thoughts and feelings as the album comes to life, and so much more.

Scott himself will pop in from time to time with his own posts to field questions from you and talk about the creative process.

We're just getting started, but we've already got some work done, so look for another post real soon, along with some cool studio pictures as music gets made........
